Prayer Topic: Marriage Struggles

Struggles in marriage come from a very broad range of circumstances, so starting to find cause or fault with a submitted situation can create more strain in the exchange. Instead praying for them to allow God to bring resolution by knowing the specifics and dealing with the heart at the source is where we find the power of the Holy Spirit that we just won’t have. Showing care and encouragement to help them find reconciliation through strength of forgiveness and unconditional love is what we seek to help them find.

Possible Things to Pray for:

• Heart and eyes to see the other person through God’s eyes
• Willingness to forgive and seek reconciliation (restoration)
• Allowing God to show them where He wants to see change in them
• Protection from ungodly influences that strain the marriage and trust
• Patience as God grows the marriage to where He wants it to be

Hebrews 13:4 NLT - Give honor to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage. God will surely judge people who are immoral and those who commit adultery.
